For there is one body and one Spirit\u2026one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all&#8230;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ephesians 4:2-6 <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho are you to judge the servant of another?&#8230; Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind\u2026 The faith which you have, have as your own conviction before God.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Romans 14:4,5,22<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I have the gift of prophesy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>1 Corinthians 13:2<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>THE BIBLE<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>We believe the Bible is God\u2019s Word for everyone. It was written by people who were under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, and is the source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. It has the power and ability to transform our thinking and our lives.<\/p>\n<p>Matt. 4:4; 2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Tim. 3:16; Rom. 12:2<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>GOD<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>We believe in one God &#8211; Creator and Ruler of the universe.\u00a0 He exists eternally as three persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n<p>Deut. 6:4; Gen. 1:1; Psalm 97:1; Gen. 1:26; Col. 1:16,17; Matt. 28:18,19<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>JESUS CHRIST<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and therefore fully God and fully man.\u00a0 Jesus lived a sinless life, yet experienced the full range of being human.\u00a0 According to God\u00b4s eternal purpose, Jesus was crucified on a cross, died in our place for our sins, so that we might be reconciled to God.\u00a0 After three days Jesus rose from the dead, conquering sin and death.\u00a0 He then ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father.<\/p>\n<p>Luke 1:35; Matt. 26:64, 65; Matt. 27:54; Heb. 4:15; Acts 2:22-24; Rom. 8:34; 2 Cor. 5:18<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>HOLY SPIRIT<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person, equal in essence with God the Father and God the Son.\u00a0 After Jesus ascended to His Father, He sent the Holy Spirit to convict the world of sin and its need for forgiveness.\u00a0 Once a person places their trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, Jesus gives them the gift of Holy Spirit.\u00a0 The Holy Spirit then resides within the believer to lead, teach, illuminate, convict, comfort, heal, and empower them to live a life pleasing to God.\u00a0 The Holy Spirit also works through believers, giving each of us one or more spiritual gifts for the purpose of serving others.<\/p>\n<p>Matt 28:18,19; John 16:8; Acts 8:29; Acts 2:32,33; Acts 1:8; John 16:13; 1 Pet. 4:10; Rom. 8:11; 1 Cor. 6:19<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>HUMANITY<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>We believe that God created both men and women in His own image, i.e. we are very much like Him.\u00a0 Out of love God created us to be His family.\u00a0 Although humanity has a tremendous potential for good, we are all marred by a downward propensity to live selfishly and independently of God.\u00a0 This innate propensity is the result of the fall of man, and is the reason God provides salvation through Jesus Christ. As true Christians, the Holy Spirit reveals to our hearts that we truly are God\u00b4s children.<\/p>\n<p>Gen. 1:26; Gen. 5:1; James 3:9; 1 Jn 3:1; Rom. 3:23; Rom. 5:12; Rom. 7:18; Gal. 4:6<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>SALVATION<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>We believe salvation is God\u00b4s free gift of eternal life, received through a personal, living faith in Jesus Christ, who was crucified on our behalf as payment for our sins.\u00a0 Eternal life therefore, cannot be bought or merited through any amount of religious efforts or good works.\u00a0 Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone.\u00a0 Good works that please God are works that result from Salvation, rather than works which attempt to acquire Salvation.<\/p>\n<p>Rom. 6:23; John 1:12; Rom 10:9; Matt 20:28; Col 2:13,1 4; Eph. 2:8,9, 10<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>THE CHURCH<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>We believe that the church is the community of Christians, supernaturally connected by the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit.\u00a0 The church is Christ\u00b4s body, called to be His eyes and ears, His hands and feet to one another, as well as to a lost and hurting world.\u00a0 The church is also referred to as the Bride of Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Eph. 4:15,16; 1 Cor. 12:17,18; 1 Cor. 9:22; Matt. 22:2; John 3:29; 2 Cor 11:2<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>THE RETURN OF CHRIST<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>We believe that human history will culminate in the glorious and powerful return of Jesus Christ to set up His eternal kingdom on earth as predicted by Old Testament prophets, New Testament apostles, and Jesus Himself.\u00a0 We believe that His Second Coming will occur in two phases.\u00a0 In the first phase Jesus will come in the clouds for His bride (the church) to take her to heaven.\u00a0 In the second phase Jesus will return with His bride to the earth for the battle of Armageddon where He will subdue the nations of the world as He sets up His millennial kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>Matt. 24:30; Dan. 2:44; 1Thess. 4:16,17; John 14:2,3; Rev. 19:11-16<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>ETERNITY<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>We believe that after the millennial (1000 year) reign of Christ on the earth the Great White Throne judgement will take place, i.e. the final judgement of all unbelievers throughout history.\u00a0 After this judgement God will create a New Heavens and New Earth, and a New Jerusalem will descend down from heaven which will be the eternal home of all believers.\u00a0 Eternity will be comprised of \u201cages to come\u201d in which God will express to us the exceeding riches of His grace.<\/p>\n<p>Rev 20:11, 12; Rev 21:1-3; Eph 2:7<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Church Ordinances<\/h2>\n<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>BAPTISM<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>We believe that baptism is an outward symbol (and public declaration) of the inward reality that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior.<\/p>\n<p>Acts 2:38;
